Katherine Burnam

Katherine Burnam is the advisor for global education and study abroad. She works closely with members of the campus community to promote education abroad programs and activities. Katherine helps students by identifying academic options in assigned regions, while  also focusing on students’ intercultural skills development. 

She is originally from Lynchburg and graduated from Lynchburg College with a bachelor’s in international relations and a master's in Business Administration. Katherine has worked in higher education since 2016, previously advising in career services at Randolph College.

Katherine’s international experience includes:

• Foreign exchange student, International School of Trieste- Trieste, Italy.
• Faculty-led programs in Southern Italy.
• Travel to over 10 different countries.
