Support study abroad students

Studying abroad is a key part of the Virginia Tech experience and as such, the Global Education Office, as well as many departments and offices across the university, devotes funds to student study abroad scholarships. Over the 2022-23 fiscal year, GEO awarded nearly $500,000 in scholarships to over 150 students, including many from underrepresented populations.

Additionally, there are Virginia Tech alumni and friends who recognize the value of study abroad in themselves or a family member and have donated money to create opportunities to help fellow Hokies continue the tradition of studying abroad.

Help more Hokies access study abroad opportunities.
