Application

At Virginia Tech, the Global Education Office serves as the primary coordinating unit for most logistical issues. All questions about the application process for exchange students should be directed to our office, and we will either answer your questions or put you in contact with other individuals or offices as necessary.

We will only accept exchange applications from students who are attending universities with which Virginia Tech has an ongoing partnership. (See current partner list)

We encourage you to make an appointment to meet with the Exchange Coordinator at your home institution as soon as possible, in order to learn more about the specific details that govern the exchange, the courses that may be possible to take at Virginia Tech, and the deadline for submitting application materials online.
